The main trims of the 2020 Escape will be launching in the fall of 2019, while plug-in hybrid models are slated to arrive in the spring of 2020. Contact a Buss Ford team member at (855) 330-7803 for more updates.

Performance

The 2020 Escape can be equipped with three different engines: a 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, 1.5L EcoBoost® engine, and a 2.5L Atkinson Cycle hybrid engine. The 2.0L EcoBoost® engine will provide 250 HP and 275 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 1.5L EcoBoost® delivers 180 HP and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. The exact performance figures of the 2.5L Atkinson Cycle hybrid engine have yet to be announced, although it is purported that it will make a combined system horsepower of 198.
